Background:

Shooting a shotgun has taken me many places all around the world. This wouldn't have been possible if while growing up my parents had not taught me a love and respect for guns. As I got old enough to shoot a Daisy BB gun out at my grandpa's ranch, I believe that was a good start. When I was big enough to shoot a 22, shooting began to have a new meaning. Once I got a shotgun in my hands, hunting birds with my dad and grandpa was the most fun I had ever had. My father, David Reaves, used to own Conroe Trap and Skeet, which was closed down due to a fire. The knowledge of target shooting he passed on to me only fueled my desire to take shooting a shotgun to the next level. He not only started shooting again himself, but an old friend of his, Dan Carlisle, convinced him to shoot sporting clays. Well, when my dad got hooked on it, I was right there with him, carrying his bag and watching. Not shooting! Now he tells me that the reason he wouldn't let me shoot with him at first is because he wanted to make sure that I built a passion for the game even before I first shot at targets. He gave me the basics of target shooting, but then sent me to my coach, Dan Carlisle. After working hard with Dan, I started winning tournaments. Now, after practicing and practicing, and numerous hours spent with Dan, I have numerous National Titles and some World Titles. Sporting Clays is a great game, and I recommend that if you haven't tried it, that you do. Be careful though, it gets addictive!

Hobbies:

I am currently a full time instructor for shotgun shooting of all disciplines. I hunt and fish every chance I get.
