Saltwater Kayak Camp

Outdoor Texas Saltwater Kayak Camp

Saltwater Kayak Camp       July 25 – July 31

The 2010 Saltwater Kayak Camp is the result of the experience had by the 2009 Saltwater campers.  Their experience in learning to kayak the bays of Texas and their good fortune while fishing for trout and redfish demanded that an expanded Kayak experience be provided for 2010.  The Kayak Camp of 2010 will teach each camper kayak safety, kayak rigging , and the campers will learn the top fishing areas in and around Port Aransas.  Top instructors will work with campers on a daily basis.  The fun and the learning will be non-stop. The Port Aransas Retreat is the perfect location for this camp.  A great facility located in the center of kayak fishing activities.

SPECIAL NOTE: The Kayak Camp will have a very special acitivity during the last portion of the camp.  This acitivity is called “Add-a-Dad”.  On Thursday afternoon campers can be joined by their dad, a big brother, or uncle to finish camp together.  These participants will join in the kayak fishing and camp acitivities on Friday and Saturday.  There is a very limited number of these spots available and the cost is yet to be determined.  Please inquire about “Add-a-Dad” if you have interest.
