Outdoor Texas Waterfowl Camp

Waterfowl Camp         July 15 – July 21            $1,075

The Outdoor Texas Waterfowl Camp is located at the Haydel Duck Club located in Cameron Parish, south of Lake Charles, Louisiana.  This camp is the perfect facility to teach a full schedule of activities so that each camper can experience waterfowling at its best.  The camp stresses three core elements: duck and goose calling, retriever training, and shotgunning.  These three activities plus an extensive schedule of support activities makes this camp the best waterfowl education available.

Kelly Haydel, of Haydel’s Gamecalls, will serve as Camp Director and his staff has been selected based on experience, professionalism, and communication skills.

Equipment and Miscellaneous

  • Personal Fishing Tackle can be brought to any of the fishing camps - but it is not required.  All of the fishing camps have plenty of tackle available.
  • No Guns.  Hunting and Deer Camps have all the guns needed.
  • No electronic games.
  • No food or snacks.
  • Cell phones must be kept by the Camp Director.  Camper can use his or her phone at the appropriate times.
  • Cameras are allowed.
